Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1

Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

Arrival in Tangier and pickup by our guide. Travel through the Rif Mountains, passing by the white city of Tetouan. Arrival in Chefchaouen, the famous Blue City. Free time to walk through its picturesque streets. Overnight in Riad.

Day 2

Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Departure towards the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Continuation to the imperial city of Meknes to visit the Bab Mansour gate. Arrival in Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco. Overnight in Riad.

Day 3

Fes (Guided Tour)

Full day dedicated to exploring Fes with a local guide. We will visit the Royal Palace, the medieval Medina (UNESCO Heritage), the tanneries, the Al Quaraouiyine University, and the souks. Overnight in Fes.

Day 4

Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga Desert

We will cross the Middle Atlas passing through Ifrane ("the Moroccan Switzerland") and the cedar forest of Azrou where we will see monkeys. Lunch in Midelt. Continuation through the Ziz Valley to reach the dunes of Merzouga. Dinner and overnight in hotel facing the dunes.

Day 5

Merzouga – Nomads – Night in Camp

Exploration of the desert in 4x4, visit to nomad families and the village of Khamlia (Gnawa music). In the afternoon, camel ride into the heart of the dunes to watch the sunset. Magical night in a luxury camp with music and starry sky.

Day 6

Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades

Sunrise in the desert. Visit to the traditional market of Rissani. Continuation to the impressive Todra Gorges to walk along the river. Arrival at Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 7

Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou

Route of the Thousand Kasbahs and Valley of Roses. Arrival in Ouarzazate to visit the film studios. Visit to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO Heritage). Overnight in a charming hotel in the area.

Day 8

Ait Ben Haddou – Ounila Valley – Telouet – Marrakech

Journey through the picturesque Ounila Valley to the Kasbah of Telouet. Crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2260m). Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon. Overnight in Riad.

Day 9

Marrakech (Guided Tour)

Guided tour of the Marrakech Medina: Jemaa el-Fna Square, Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and souks. Free afternoon to enjoy the city at your own pace. Overnight in Riad.

Day 10

Marrakech – Airport

Breakfast and free time until the agreed time. Private transfer to Marrakech airport. End of our services.

1. Linear Route: This tour starts in Tangier (North) and ends in Marrakech (South). Please plan your arrival flights to Tangier and departure from Marrakech.

2. Distances: It is a comprehensive trip covering much of the country. Some days, like the Fes to Merzouga leg, involve 7-8 hours of driving with scenic stops.

3. Weather: You will experience varied climates: the humid cool of the north, the cold of the mountains, and the dry heat of the desert. Layered clothing is recommended.

4. Documentation: Passport with at least 6 months validity is mandatory to enter Morocco.

Where does the driver pick us up?

We pick you up at Tangier Ville Port, Tangier Med, or Tangier Airport, depending on your arrival. We can also pick you up at your hotel if you are already in the city.

What type of vehicle is used?

We use 4x4 vehicles (Toyota Prado or similar) or Luxury Minivans (Mercedes Vito/Hyundai H1) with air conditioning, depending on the group size.

Is it suitable for children or seniors?

Yes, it is a private tour and we can adapt the pace. However, keep in mind there is significant driving time. Families usually enjoy the desert experience very much.
