Tour Details
Discover the stunning diversity of the Atlas Mountains on this 4-day trek. This route offers a perfect balance between challenging hiking and cultural immersion. By approaching Toubkal via the beautiful Azzadene Valley, you gain better acclimatization and enjoy greener, more varied scenery compared to the direct route.
You will pass through traditional Berber villages, lush walnut groves, and dramatic mountain passes before tackling the summit of Jebel Toubkal (4,167m).

Detailed Itinerary
Marrakech – Imlil – Azzadene Valley
Transfer to Imlil (1740m). Trek out of Imlil Valley and into the colorful Azzadene Valley. Pass Tizi n'Mzik (2450m), the refuge at Azib n'Tamsoult, and the Ighouliden waterfalls. Overnight in a mountain refuge or camp at 3000m. (L/D)
Azzadene Valley – Aguelzim Pass – Toubkal Refuge
A steep climb out of the Azzadene Valley to the Aguelzim Pass at 3560m. Lunch with spectacular views over the Atlas Mountain range. Descend to the Toubkal Refuge (3207m). Excellent acclimatization day. (B/L/D)
Toubkal Summit (4167m) – Imlil
Early start for the summit of Jebel Toubkal. Enjoy unrestricted views of the High Atlas. Descent back to the refuge for lunch and then continue down to Imlil. Overnight in a guesthouse in Imlil. (B/L/D)
Imlil – Marrakech
After breakfast, enjoy a short walk around the village or relax on the terrace. Transfer back to Marrakech arriving around noon. (B)
