Discover the charming coastal city of Essaouira, known as the "Bride of the Atlantic". Just 3 hours from Marrakech, this walled city invites you to get lost in its historic medina (UNESCO World Heritage Site), where white and blue facades contrast with the ocean.
Stroll along the Portuguese ramparts of the Skala, watch the fishermen in the vibrant port, and relax on its extensive sandy beaches. On the way, we will visit an argan oil cooperative, a unique product of this region.
Pick up at your hotel or Riad. Journey towards the Atlantic coast crossing the Haouz plains and endemic argan forests of the region.
Stop at a women's cooperative to see the traditional extraction process of argan oil, known as Morocco's "liquid gold".
Arrival in Essaouira. Free time to explore the Medina, visit the Kasbah Skala ramparts, and see the fishing port where blue boats arrive with the day's catch.
Enjoy a lunch of fresh fish or seafood at the port stalls or at a restaurant with a terrace. Afterwards, you can walk along the extensive sandy beach.
Meeting with the driver and return journey. Arrival at your hotel in Marrakech around 19:00 - 19:30 PM.
Essaouira is known as the "City of Wind". There is usually a breeze, which makes it very pleasant in summer, but a light jacket is recommended.
Yes, the beach is wide and safe, although the Atlantic water can be cold.
The port stalls offer fresh grilled fish at a good price. There are also excellent restaurants in the medina with sea views.
